The Fashion Show video has been edited down to a short clip of highlights. Wilurarra had the pleasure to work with Elias from Curious Works. Elias worked with us to create, edit and improve our video making skills. We now have some great ideas in store for the future, with all new camera tech coming soon! Fashion Show 2012 photos !!! The Wilurarra Creative fashion spectacular went off without a hitch. We had BBQ's, Slideshows, ninja movies pumping tunes and a great turnout. Themed catwalks included Deadly Ladies wear, Cowboys, Schoolboys and our own screen printed designs. The photos from our fashion intensive are online !! Over the last 5 weeks we have been running daily workshops in the Wilurarra Centre in hair dressing, make-up, fashion, screen printing and photo shoots. With the expertise of Star lady, Jeff Stewart, Alex Walton, Bec Smith, Delvina Lawson and Adele Hunt we have been able to achieve all of this in the one space! On the 18th February 2011 Wilurarra Creative held a fashion event at the Warburton pool. The kungkas and fellas showed off their fashion styles and posed for photos. There was dancing, catwalks, tricks&flips, Dj music, freshly painted caps, costume changes, a slideshow of the recent fashion shoot and live music from some of the fellas that record in the Wilurarra studio. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make it a great night.
Last week Wilurarra Creative moved over to the Warburton Clinic to do Fashion photo shoots. We dressed up in fashion clothes and as doctors, nurses and patients. There were heartbeat checks, teeth brushing tips, tomato sauce wounds, neck braces, bandages, and even a photo shoot on the airstrip with the Ambulance! Thanks to Cameron, Lida and the other Ngnaanyatjarra Health Staff for hosting us at the Warburton Clinic. Models include Rosequeen , Delvina, Lisa, Katrina, Mikaela & Melissa
