Wilurarra Creative put on a concert night that featured bands from the Ngannyatjarra lands including Blackstone, Warakurna, Jameison and Wanarn. We had a great turn out, the bands kept everyone dancing and warm even though it was such a cold night.

Over 600 people turned out at the Warburton oval for the Sandtracks 2012 concert on Saturday 22nd September. Tjupi Band and Blackstone Band were supported by local Warburton Bands - Red Sand Beat and Central Desert Band. Thanks to the Ng Media team for setting up the stage. PHAM's BBQ Launch event was a great sucess. With the PHAM's team ,The breakfest ladies, The Shire and Wilurarra Creative all working together everyone was feed, entertained and given an insights, into ideas for Warburtons future. Central Desert Band will be playing in Perth at the Too Solid Festival 2011. Wilurarra Creative is proud to support these dedicated musicians, many of who do huge amounts of work in the music development program here. Not to be missed! The new music recording studio in Wanarn Remote Indigenous School is featured in Music NT news. This collaborative project between Wilurarra Creative Music and the school is very positive.
